The StorTrends 1300i is a dual dialect storage appliance that offers both NAS and IP-SAN storage in a single, affordable appliance. Ready for use as primary storage in existing Ethernet networks, it also features iSCSI support, enabling block data from applications like Microsoft® Exchange, SQL Server and Oracle® to be deployed or stored on the same server as traditional file services and storage. Ideal for either primary or secondary storage, it provides enterprise-level features at a price that is attractive to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

The StorTrends 1300i comes preinstalled with dual dialect StorTrends iTX software, which enables transfer of both block and file data over the existing Ethernet network. It provides advanced disaster recovery features such as synchronous, asynchronous, snapshot-assisted and journal-assisted replication, failover, and failback. StorTrends iTX also features high availability grouping, network teaming support for load balancing across its dual Ethernet ports, UPS support with write-through caching, advanced snapshots, SAN and NAS snapshot scheduling and advanced caching for IP-SAN appliances.
