The SilkWorm 12000 is now available for your enterprise in configurations ranging from 32 ports to 128 ports in a single chassis. With Secure Fabric OS, security policies are distributed directly from trusted switches to prevent unauthorized sources from altering security policies.
These software capabilities complement the Brocade hardware-enforced zoning feature that has helped secure Brocade SAN fabrics for many years. Only the combination of security software and hardware-enforced zoning can create the most secure SAN environment capable of protecting mission-critical data. The SilkWorm 12000 combines high port counts and all the high-availability features of a director, but adds many other advanced features not currently available in directors. These features include intelligent switching capabilities that greatly simplify SAN design, deployment, monitoring, and management.
